Quantum Creations Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the InterviewPro AI mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the App. Please read this policy carefully. By using InterviewPro AI, you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Profile Information
During onboarding, you may provide information such as your job title, industry, and experience level. This data is stored locally on your device and is used solely to personalize your interview experience.
Interview Conversations
Text or spoken input you provide during interview sessions is sent to our backend server for AI processing. Conversation data is processed in real time and is not permanently stored on our servers.
Voice Input
If you use voice input, your speech is processed using Apple’s on-device Speech Recognition framework. Raw audio is not transmitted to our servers. Only the transcribed text is sent for AI processing.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data
Basic usage information—such as session duration, number of messages sent, and feature usage—is stored locally on your device to manage credits, limits, and subscriptions.
Purchase Information
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment or billing information.
Device Information
We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or other device-specific information beyond what is strictly required for API requests to function.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not:
- Require account creation or login
- Collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or personal identifiers
- Collect location data
- Use advertising or tracking frameworks
- Use third-party analytics SDKs
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information described above to:
- AI Interview Processing: Interview messages and profile context are sent to our secure backend and forwarded to OpenAI’s API to generate interview responses, feedback, and coaching.
- Text-to-Speech: AI-generated responses may be converted to audio using OpenAI’s Text-to-Speech API.
- Personalization: Profile information helps tailor questions and feedback to your career background.
- Credit & Subscription Management: Local usage data is used to manage credit balances, message limits, and subscription status.
3. Third-Party Services
3.1 OpenAI
We use OpenAI’s API services (including GPT-4o for text generation and TTS-1 for voice synthesis). Messages and limited profile context are sent to OpenAI solely to generate responses. OpenAI’s handling of API data is governed by their API Data Usage Policy. As of the date of this policy, OpenAI does not use API data to train its models.
3.2 Apple Services
We use Apple’s StoreKit framework for purchases and subscriptions, and Apple’s on-device Speech Recognition for voice input. Apple handles this data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.
3.3 Render (Hosting)
Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Render. Render may collect standard server access logs (such as IP addresses and request timestamps) as part of their infrastructure services. Refer to Render’s Privacy Policy for more information.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 On-Device Storage
Most data—profile information, session history, preferences, and credit balances—is stored locally on your device. This data is protected by iOS security features, including app sandboxing, passcode protection, Face ID, and Touch ID.
4.2 Server-Side Processing
Messages are transmitted securely over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher) to our backend server for AI processing. We do notpermanently store conversation data. Messages are forwarded to OpenAI in real time and discarded after responses are generated.
4.3 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard safeguards, including:
- Encrypted HTTPS communication
- Rate-limited API endpoints
- Input validation on all server endpoints
- No handling of user credentials or payment data
5. Data Retention
On-Device Data
Data remains on your device until you delete the App or reset data from within the App settings.
Server-Side Data
We do not retain interview conversations or user messages on our servers.
Server Logs
Basic server access logs (e.g., timestamps and request paths) may be retained for up to 30 days for debugging and security purposes.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your data:
- Access & Deletion: All data resides on your device. You may delete it at any time by uninstalling the App or using the in-app reset option.
- Microphone Access: You may revoke microphone permission via iOS Settings. The App will continue to function with text input.
- Speech Recognition: Speech recognition permission can be revoked at any time through iOS Settings.
- Opt-Out: We do not engage in tracking, profiling, or targeted advertising.
7. Children’s Privacy
InterviewPro AI is not intended for individuals under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
8. International Data Transfers
AI processing occurs on servers located in the United States. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the U.S. Appropriate safeguards are applied to protect your information.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected
- Request deletion of personal information
- Be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights
Because we do not collect personal identifiers, sell data, or use data for marketing, many CCPA provisions do not apply. Requests may be submitted using the contact details below.
10. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, you have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and restriction of processing. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the App’s functionality. Contact us to exercise these rights.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
